Selness, MS Naval Architect appeared in BEA2008 Booth 732 On Friday, 30 May 2008 to answer questions about the content of and course of his book: Primitive Benchmark: A Short Treatise on a General Theory of Sailing with the Limits of Sailboat Speed. He was there to pass out bookmarks and to answer questions such as: why some first time readers keep this book by their bedside? how to predict with the general theory the speed of any species of sailing craft? Actual questions asked were: why did you decide to write a book? are you a sailor, you look like one? maybe my husband will like it, he is a sailor. The book continues on display in the Science section of the PMA booth 727 at the BEA2008 Los Angeles California through Sunday 1 June 2008. |
